Job Description:
Applications Developer (Salesforce)– Senior
Client: Big 5 Bank
Location: Hybrid 1-2 days a week, Downtown Toronto, Ontario
Terms : 6-10 month contract with a possibility for extension and conversion to FTE
Schedule Hours: Mon- Fri 9-5 - 37.5 hrs/per week
(in office every weds and 3rd Friday *Mandatory. Onsite frequency are subject to change based on enterprise requirements.)
Interview Process:
One round technical interview via Microsoft Teams.
There is a possibility of an in person interview, which would take place on a Wednesday due to the mandatory in office day.
About the Team:
Approximately 20 on the immediate team; roughly 100 including broader stakeholders.
Marketing programs that collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver impactful and innovative loyalty management initiatives, including the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions.
Project:
This is a contract position for a Salesforce Loyalty Management Developer.
The role involves designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions, including the creation of Visualforce pages and Lightning Web Components, and ensuring seamless Salesforce.com administration.
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver impactful and innovative loyalty management initiatives.
This hybrid role is based in Toronto, ON, with opportunities for remote work.
Job Responsibilities:
Proficient in Salesforce.com Development, including experience with Visualforce Pages.
Demonstrated expertise in building and deploying Lightning Web Components.
Strong understanding of Salesforce.com Administration and platform functionality.
Experience with Salesforce.com and loyalty management solutions is a plus.
Experience with Sales Cloud and Market Cloud is a plus.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in the financial services industry or working with client-focused platforms is an advantage.
Must Have Requirement:
Proficient in Salesforce development, including Visualforce Pages
Understanding of Salesforce administration practices.
Experience with Salesforce and loyalty management solutions, including data cloud platforms
Experience with Sales Cloud
Proficient in Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence
Nice to Have:
Experience with one or more of the following: Python, Azure, Java, Databricks.
Experience with Marketing Cloud or Data Cloud
Banking experience (top 5 banks) within the marketing sector as an application developer
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams in a hybrid work environment
Exhibits excellent communication skills, adapts quickly to changing environments, and works independently while consistently demonstrating sound judgment and accountability.
Apex pay scales are determined by role, experience, skill set, and location. For this new position, the estimated hourly range is provided below as a guideline; however, total compensation may vary based on individual circumstances.
