Description

Would you like to manage a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services in the Enterprise business market? Do you have the business savvy, technical background, and leadership skills necessary to help establish Amazon as a key technology platform provider in the Enterprises?

As an AWS Sales Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology.

Your responsibilities will include building and managing a highly talented sales team focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in Enterprise market. The candidate should possess a sales management background that enables them to lead a team of sale representatives with engagements at the CXO level.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities

Strategy & Business Leadership

Define and execute the strategic vision for AWS's business in France
Drive revenue growth and cloud adoption across the segment
Build and maintain executive relationships with key customers and partners
Develop and implement go-to-market strategies across different customer segments (SPA, SWARM, SCALE)
Collaborate with EMEA leadership to align regional and segment strategies

People Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team
Foster a high-performance culture balanced with employee development and well-being
Drive talent acquisition and retention strategies
Implement effective organizational structures and operating mechanisms

Operational Excellence

Manage complex sales operations and pipeline development
Drive operational rigor through metrics and accountability
Implement and optimize sales methodologies (MEDDPICC)
Ensure effective collaboration across sales, technical, and partner teams

Partner Ecosystem

Develop strategic partnerships to scale the business
Drive partner-attached revenue growth
Build and maintain relationships with key system integrators and ISVs

Basic Qualifications

15+ years of enterprise technology sales/business leadership experience
7+ years of people management experience leading large, cross-functional teams
Track record of consistently delivering results in a high-growth environment
Strong understanding of cloud computing and digital transformation
Fluent in French and English

Preferred Qualifications

Track record of building and scaling successful partner ecosystems
Strong executive presence and communication skills
History of implementing successful change management initiatives
Experience with AWS or cloud services
