Senior Project Architect – Entertainment Architecture

£60,000–£65,000 DOE

Fixed-term until September 2026 (potential to extend)

Central London

HAUS Careers is looking for a Senior Project Architect to join a globally recognised design studio specialising in entertainment-led architecture and live experience environments.

The practice operates across a wide range of project types including concert tours, immersive installations, temporary and permanent theatres, large-scale outdoor structures and one-off live events, collaborating with some of the world’s most high-profile artists and cultural institutions.

Due to an increase in international workload, the studio is now seeking a Senior Project Architect to join the team as soon as possible.

The Role

This role sits at the heart of a highly creative, fast-paced studio environment. You will be responsible for leading and delivering complex venue-led projects, typically through RIBA Stages 0–3+, with continued design review involvement beyond this point.

Projects demand strong spatial thinking, clarity of communication and an ability to work discreetly on high-profile, confidential commissions.

The studio is particularly interested in candidates with experience in theatres, auditoriums or performance spaces, though strong hospitality-led architects with a focus on experiential design are also encouraged to apply.

The Ideal Candidate

You will:

Be ARB-registered with 7+ years post-Part 3 experience
Have experience designing theatres, auditoriums or complex venues
Be highly proficient in AutoCAD and Rhino (essential)
Ideally have experience with Revit, Enscape, Twinmotion and/or Blender
Be confident leading design teams and managing consultants
Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills
Have a clear interest in spatial planning, circulation and crowd movement
Be comfortable working on high-profile, confidential projects
Show genuine enthusiasm for entertainment and experience-led architecture
Experience in RIBA Stage 4 and interior design is advantageous but not essential.

The Studio Environment

While the work sits outside what might be considered “traditional architecture”, the team is largely made up of fully qualified architects working at the intersection of architecture, performance and spectacle. Projects move quickly and require adaptability, creativity and confidence.

The Offer

£60,000–£65,000, dependent on experience
Fixed-term role until September 2026, with potential to extend
Hybrid working (initially office-based)
Studio hours: 10am – 6pm, with a generous lunch break
Opportunities to attend live events and performances
No travel required, despite the international nature of the work

This is a rare opportunity to work on globally visible projects within a discreet, design-led studio operating at the forefront of entertainment architecture.
