About the Role

We are looking for a motivated IT Field Engineer to provide on-site technical support across client or office locations. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates who have foundational IT knowledge and are eager to gain hands-on experience in real-world environments.

You will work under the guidance of senior engineers, supporting hardware, software, and basic network operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
Assist with installation, configuration, and setup of IT equipment
Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and operating system issues
Support Windows-based systems and common business applications
Perform password resets and basic user account support
Assist with basic networking issues (LAN, Wi-Fi connectivity)
Log, track, and update incidents using ticketing systems
Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers
Perform site visits, device replacements, and basic deployments
Maintain accurate documentation of field support activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

Basic understanding of IT support concepts
Familiarity with Windows OS (Windows 10/11)
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals
Understanding of basic networking concepts (IP addressing, LAN, Wi-Fi)
Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently in field environments

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

IT support certification or training (CompTIA ITF+, A+, or equivalent)
Internship, academic, or hands-on lab experience
Exposure to Active Directory or Microsoft 365
Valid driving licence (if field travel is required)
