About the Role
We are building cutting-edge software at the intersection of AI, 3D geometry, and architectural design. Our platform empowers architects, engineers, and designers to create smarter, more efficient workflows through intelligent automation and geometry-aware applications. We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and is eager to push the boundaries of AI-driven 3D applications.
In this role, you'll combine full-stack development expertise to build innovative, AI-powered applications at the intersection of web technology, computational geometry, and design automation.
Responsibilities:
Foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices in an agile environment
Design and implement scalable front-end and back-end systems that power our platform
Work with 3D geometry libraries to create performant, interactive features for CAD and BIM applications
Integrate AI/ML models into user-facing applications, focusing on geometry, optimization, and design automation
Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions within an agile environment
Partner with product, design, and research teams to bring innovative ideas into production
Drive technical decisions and contribute to the long-term technical vision of the platform
Qualifications:
Experience & Leadership:
8+ years of professional software development experience
Track record of delivering complex, production-grade applications
Experience with AI generative coding design and implementation
Technical Skills:
Front-End:
Expert level in React, TypeScript, and modern front-end tooling
Proficiency with 3D web technologies: Three.js, React Three Fiber
Understanding of 3D geometry, computational geometry, and graphics pipelines
Back-End:
Python expertise with FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy
Experience with OpenAPI specifications and RESTful API design
Experience with AI/ML integration using tools like LlamaIndex and OpenAI
Infrastructure & Data:
Experience developing applications using AWS Cloud services
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Containerization with Docker
Experience with asynchronous task execution and message-based workflows
Domain Knowledge:
Experience working with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and/or CAD systems
Understanding of 3D modeling concepts and CAD/graphics pipelines
Location:
This is a hybrid position based in Atlanta, GA, with Tuesdays and Thursdays in-person for collaboration, mentorship, and training.
