Back End Engineer (JavaScript/Mobile/DevOps)

We’re looking for a software engineer who has experience as a Back End Engineer working with mobile platforms and DevOps. This role requires a deep understanding of JavaScript.

This is a growing startup poised for nationwide expansion, offering a hybrid role based in downtown Austin, TX.

If you know your way around Mobile Applications, JavaScript and Deployment this is an incredible opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

Contribute to development of a full stack web and mobile based JavaScript application.
Build and maintain supporting backend services and APIs using Node.js.
Develop SDKs, client libraries, and integration layers that enable mobile and web compatibility
Work with AWS cloud infrastructure
Test, debug, and optimize APIs and system performance

Requirements

5+ years building, delivering, and owning robust software solutions or products
Strong with JavaScript, DevOps and mobile development
Hands-on experience with mobile integration workflows, such as app SDKs, REST/GraphQL APIs, or third-party platform connectivity.
Experience developing SDKs, libraries, or API wrappers for mobile and web use.
Proven track record in owning products or features end-to-end

Nice to have:

Experience with cloud deployment platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines, containerized workload management
