A well-capitalized, later-stage investment platform is looking for a Data Scientist to work at the intersection of data, AI, and strategic decision-making.

This role focuses on using data to evaluate company performance, market signals, and emerging trends rather than building internal dashboards or pure reporting. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders on high-impact, hypothesis-driven analysis.

What you’ll do

Analyze large, messy datasets to surface insights on company and market performance
Apply statistical, ML, and AI-driven approaches to investment and strategy questions
Partner directly with senior leaders to frame questions, test hypotheses, and communicate insights clearly
Help shape how data and AI are used to inform long-term decisions

What they're looking for

Experience with alternative, messy & raw datasets
Strong background in data science, analytics, or applied ML (industry or research)
Comfortable operating end-to-end: problem framing → analysis → executive-level storytelling
Experience working with senior stakeholders and ambiguous problem spaces
Interest in markets, technology, and business performance
