A global market leading organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Global FP&A Process Lead to support a major finance transformation programme. This is a high impact leadership role, partnering closely with senior finance stakeholders across the business to drive standardisation, automation and system enabled change across FP&A.
This role will suit a senior finance transformation leader with deep FP&A expertise, strong programme delivery capability, and experience operating in complex global environments.
The role
You will take ownership of the global FP&A transformation agenda, covering people, process and systems. The focus will be on driving consistency, improving efficiency, and enabling better insight through improved analytics and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing and improving global FP&A processes across budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis
Leading FP&A finance transformation initiatives in partnership with senior finance leadership, HR, technology and global business units
Delivering key transformation programmes including the development of global centres of excellence, global hubs, and increased standardisation and automation
Acting as systems owner for core FP&A platforms, including SAP Analytics, overseeing implementations, enhancements and automation initiatives
Leading the implementation of a global analytics programme across regional and corporate FP&A teams, including roadmap development for future phases
Developing and executing the FP&A technology roadmap with a strong focus on reducing manual activity
Driving activity analysis, process design, documentation and operating model improvements across regions
Leading change management across diverse, multi geography teams
Managing senior stakeholder relationships across finance leadership and the wider organisation
Scope and impact
Global FP&A population of approximately 120 FTE
High exposure to Group and Regional CFOs, FP&A leadership, finance transformation and ERP leaders
Responsibility for delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, controls, quality and stakeholder experience
Key challenges
Managing multiple transformation priorities in parallel
Navigating regional differences in processes and ways of working
Delivering change across time zones, cultures and senior stakeholder groups
Implementing new technology platforms and operating models
About you
You will be a confident, credible interim leader with the gravitas to operate at senior levels and the hands on capability to deliver.
Key requirements:
Strong background in FP&A within complex, global organisations
Extensive experience leading finance transformation programmes
Proven track record of process standardisation, automation and systems led change
Experience working within global matrix structures
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast paced environments
Degree qualified in Finance or equivalent
English required, additional European languages desirable

Initial 6 month contract
