The Opportunity

The Senior Brand Manager for Carolina Herrera Fragrance and Makeup is instrumental in shaping the brand’s marketing strategies and positioning, annual plans, consumer-driven activation, and omni-channel strategy. We seek a candidate with a minimum of 8 years of brand management and leadership experience, coupled with a proven track record of driving omnichannel growth and animation across multiple categories.

What you’ll get to do

Business & Brand Strategy:

Partner with leadership to develop annual brand plans for both makeup and fragrance, leveraging data, insights, and reporting to assess business performance and formulate actionable strategies
Lead initiatives directly impacting the P&L for Carolina Herrera Fragrance & Makeup and manage the brand budget
Translate business priorities into clear brand objectives, strategies, and plans, with a focus on elevating the consumer experience through new product launches, pricing, positioning, and animations
Collaborate with global partners to define brand priorities for the U.S. and report on successes, challenges, and recommendations for future growth in a clear, concise manner

Retailer & Sales Strategy Definition & Execution:

Define retailer-specific strategies and positioning for the Carolina Herrera sub-brands, creating a clear roadmap to win in each channel, including specialty accounts such as Nordstrom
Partner seamlessly with Key Account Directors to identify opportunities and drive execution across accounts
Deliver impactful brand presentations for retailers during market meetings
Translate brand strategy into actionable tactics for the field sales force through inspiring and clear presentations
Develop a tiered animation strategy for fragrance and makeup, with a focus on consumer eventing at point of sale, creating scalable events that can be implemented across different retailers

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Team Development:

Demonstrate strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration, successfully leading projects and ensuring timely delivery
Partner on communications and media priorities to maximize brand visibility
Lead and develop a team of brand managers, coaching them to succeed and translating business needs into actionable initiatives

We’d love to meet you if you have:

A Bachelor’s degree preferred; MBA a plus
8+ years of brand management experience across marketing, trade marketing, and innovation
Strong talent management skills, with a focus on attracting, retaining, and developing top talent
Experience in beauty, with a proven track record of leading multiple categories across different channels
Experience in digital marketing, including direct-to-consumer, e-commerce, and retailer media networks
Leadership traits including collaboration, integrity, accountability, vision, problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude

Compensation

As required by New York State's salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $125,000.00 - $130,000.00. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure. In addition to the base salary, PUIG offers a competitive benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, 401K, paid holidays, a generous paid time-off policy, hybrid work environment, and career opportunities within a dynamic team.
