Job Title: Full Stack Developer (SC Cleared)

Location: Remote, UK Based

Duration: 12 months contract (With scope to extend)

Clearance: Active Security Clearance is required

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developers to provide strong technical leadership within agile delivery teams.

You will work closely with the Technical Team Lead, contributing hands-on to design and build activities while maintaining engineering quality, mentoring others, and driving effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Set the standard for high-quality, sustainable engineering practices
Maintain coding standards, testing approaches, and code review quality
Support the Tech Lead in shaping and breaking down work into clear, testable stories
Mentor junior engineers and promote strong team-wide engineering behaviours
Collaborate closely across the team, encouraging shared ownership
Engage early with product and delivery roles to clarify requirements and reduce rework
Escalate risks and blockers promptly

Skills and Experience

Senior experience in one core stack, with solid experience in the other:
Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security
JavaScript or TypeScript with React
Strong experience with microservice architectures
Good knowledge of modern frontend approaches, including Micro Front Ends
Experience with AWS services such as SNS, SQS, S3, Aurora or PostgreSQL, and OpenSearch
Strong engineering mindset focused on quality, collaboration, and delivery
