Job Specifications

We’re hiring a Lead Data Scientist to shape how millions of users discover content on a large-scale video streaming platform.

You’ll lead the development of recommendation and personalisation models, working closely with engineers, product managers, and fellow data scientists across international teams. This is a hands-on role covering everything from feature creation and experimentation through to production deployment — with opportunities to work on foundation models and reinforcement learning.

What You’ll Do

Lead and evolve recommendation and personalisation models
Develop and deploy ML solutions at scale (real-time and batch)
Work with deep learning, graph-based methods, and GenAI technologies
Partner cross-functionally to turn complex data into real product impact
Influence technical direction and mentor other data scientists

What We’re Looking For

5+ years’ experience in machine learning or applied data science
Deep learning expertise (TensorFlow), plus Python, SQL, and PySpark
Experience deploying ML on Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI, Kubeflow, Airflow)
Advanced degree in a quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
