The mission of the Analytics Team is to create shared success and sustainable growth through timely, rigorous, and trustworthy insights. We partner closely with Commercial, Marketing, Education, Finance, and Supply Chain to transform data into clarity, enabling better decisions, stronger strategies, and deeper relationships with our distributor partners and community.

What You Will Do

Salon Sellout Data Management & Reporting
Oversee receipt, verification, and timely upload of 24 recurring files in varying formats.
Perform monthly and quarterly database maintenance, including periodic client verification to ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with distributor partners to maximize the impact of the Sellout program through dashboards, training, and initiatives that increase engagement and drive sellout growth.
Data Analytics (KPI & OKR Tracking)
Design, test, and deploy Power BI dashboards for internal teams and external distributor partners.
Maintain continuous communication with the IT team and external consultants in Italy to ensure timely backend updates for all data visualizations.
Conduct detailed monthly analyses of local sales to identify trends, opportunities, and special activities.
Develop user-friendly reporting tools that improve the comprehension and accessibility of data.
Financial Operations (FinOps) Support
Perform monthly updates of the main P&L file, including general data validation and checklist execution.
Analyze budget variances for select line items.
Support forecast updates by providing insights on top-line sales trends.
Conduct product margin and variance analysis.
Collaborate with key business units—including Digital, B2B Commercial, and Education—to ensure fiscal responsibility and adherence to budget.
Cross-Functional Expectations (applies to both areas)
Maintain strong communication and collaboration across Davines North America, especially with the CEO, Commercial Sales, Marketing, Education, Supply Chain, and Finance teams, as well as occasional coordination with the Skincare division.
Actively participate in daily and weekly sprint meetings, demonstrating preparation, active listening, and meaningful contribution.
Follow established departmental guidelines while proactively seeking opportunities to improve efficiency and solve problems.
Successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities across diverse data sets and varying levels of complexity.
Versatility and being able to work in a multi-disciplinary role.

This role directly contributes to:

Increasing client engagement and improving sellout performance.
Enhancing accuracy, clarity, and reliability of reporting used by top management.
Strengthening operational efficiency through better data structure and workflows.
Enabling data-driven decisions across Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, Education, and Finance.
Supporting alignment between Davines North America and Italy HQ on all analytics-related initiatives.
Other projects as assigned.

Technical Skills

WHO YOU ARE (Qualifications/Skills Required)

Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard development)
2–3 years of experience in Data Analytics, Operations, or related fields preferred.
Excel (advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query)

Soft Skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Comfort working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Ability to communicate complex concepts in simple, clear language
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships

Other Requirements

Familiarity with Italian is a plus.
Based in New York City, NY or Miami, FL, with regular travel expected between the two offices to support cross-functional collaboration.
Authorized to work in the US.
