Permanent contract – Full-time – Executive position
Based in Issy-les-Moulineaux (92), France.
Previous professional experience in the field of data and AI
Fluent in English, written and spoken
The position can be partially remote and there will be some flexibility but you should expect to spend 40% of your time (monthly) at the Paris offices

YOUR MISSION, IF YOU ACCEPT IT:

Nestlé Zone Europe’s Data department is seeking a dynamic and engaged Data Scientist to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to apply advanced analytical and modelling techniques at the crossroads of technology and business, contributing directly to the deployment of proprietary data-driven solutions at the European level. As a data scientist, you’ll organize and interpret complex datasets, support the development and integration of predictive and prescriptive models, and collaborate across domains to ensure data initiatives translate into tangible project success. In particular, you will focus on the Consumer Data Hub, a European data asset containing Nestle 1st party data of all consumers across categories.

The position will report to the Data Science Manager IT Analytics Data & Integration, Achille Thin

Main Responsibilities

Model Development & Consumer Representation Learning: Design and implement machine learning models to capture consumer behavior with representation learning, lifetime value, and audience segmentation. Contribute to the development of agentic and generative AI solutions for audience creation and measurement.
Product Integration & Deployment Support: Collaborate with the Product Manager and Data Science Manager to ensure data science solutions are aligned with business goals and are effectively deployed.
Insight Generation & Use Case Expansion: Continuously monitor product evolution to identify opportunities for new models, visualizations, and use cases. Conduct ad hoc analyses to uncover actionable consumer insights.
User-Centric Solutions: Stay attuned to user feedback and operational needs, proposing creative data science solutions to address real-world challenges.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders (Global, Zone Europe, Country teams) and external partners (consultants, media agencies, group resources) to deliver impactful and insightful data science solutions.

ABOUT YOU:

You have completed a five‑year higher education program (Bac+5) with a scientific Master’s degree, specializing in mathematics, physics, data, statistics, or econometrics from a Grande École, engineering school, or university with a specialization in Science or Business
You communicate effectively and are proficient in English, which is the language used for exchanges and presentations at the European level.
You are familiar with data tools and technologies (Azure, Databricks, DBT, Snowflake, Power BI) and have excellent proficiency in Python, with hands‑on experience in data science and model development. Knowledge of frameworks such as Torch, JAX, or TensorFlow is a plus.
