Job Specifications

We’re Hiring: Java Developer – Level 2 (Contract to Hire)

Location: Ohio (On-site, Cincinnati area)

Duration: 6 Months | Contract to Hire

Work Model: On-site, Monday–Friday

We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus to help build and enhance a critical integration service connecting our Azure-based platforms with Manhattan’s MAWM SaaS solution. This role plays a key part in supporting warehouse, transportation, yard, and labor management systems across the organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java & Spring
Build and support integrations with Manhattan systems (WMS, TMS, LMS)
Work with Azure cloud services and modern integration patterns
Support rollout of a warehouse claims processing application
Occasionally contribute to Angular (v10+) frontend for internal tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Infrastructure, QA)
Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and agile ceremonies
Ensure performance, scalability, and code quality

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience with Java & Spring Framework
(open to strong junior candidates with high learning aptitude)
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
Working knowledge of Angular
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Must be local to Cincinnati / Blue Ash / Dayton / NKY
Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)

Preferred Experience

Supply chain or logistics systems (WMS/TMS/LMS)
Warehouse claims processing workflows
Familiarity with internal enterprise systems
