Position Details

Job Title: "Mechanical/Fluidics Engineer III"
Schedule:12 months 5 days Onsite/week (35 hours/week)
Location: Atlanta, GA Onsite Onsite (Coca-Cola laptop provided)
Interview Process: 1 Virtual interview

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical systems with emphasis on fluidics and thermal performance
Develop and execute tests to investigate hardware, controls, or software issues
Support quality and reliability activities including DFMEA, DOE, test planning, instrumentation, and data analysis
Collaborate cross-functionally with software, electrical, manufacturing, and non-technical teams
Gather user requirements and develop system-level specifications
Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability targets
Lead or participate in structured problem solving (8D, A3, DMAIC)
Create and maintain 3D models and drawings using CREO and manage engineering changes via Windchill

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited program in:
Mechanical Engineering
Aerospace Engineering
Biomedical Engineering
Mechatronics Engineering
Strong foundation in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and electromechanical systems
Experience with technical communication and cross-functional collaboration
Knowledge of quality engineering and design for reliability practices

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Experience with embedded software and electronics
Familiarity with Matlab, Python, and/or LabView
Experience working within stage-gate product development processes
