With this position the requirement is to be at the Comfort Suites Wooster three days a week, and two days a week will be spent at the Wallhouse Hotel.

Your day as a Director Of Sales

As the dual Director of Sales at Comfort Suites Wooster, and the Wallhouse Hotel, your daily responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth. You will lead and mentor the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to excel. A key expectation is to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs to deliver tailored hospitality solutions. You will also analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for improvement and expansion. You will craft compelling promotional campaigns to attract new guests. Additionally, you will track sales performance metrics, preparing reports to share insights with upper management. A proactive approach to problem solving will be essential as you navigate challenges and ensure customer satisfaction remains paramount in all sales endeavors.

About the hotel:
Your Responsibilities:
The Director of Sales is responsible for directing
coordinating all sales related activities
including direct sales efforts and marketing
follow up
and proper sales administration. The Director of Sales is responsible for developing and growing existing accounts and generating new business to ensure that room revenues meet or exceed budget in order to maximize revenues and profits while maintaining guest/client satisfaction.
Essential Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who:
Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction
Achieves sales goals as outlined by the General Manager / Regional Manager
Conducts hotel tours and site inspections for potential customers
Completes weekly sales call reports to be turned in to the GM and Corporate office
Maintains detailed account files and track systems
Responsible for development and execution of action plan outlining planned sales activities
Responsible for third party requests such as Hotel Planner and Brand RFP’s
Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to maximize revenue
Effectively develop relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base
Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers
Creates customer correspondence as required (sales agreements
proposals
etc)
Ability to understand
execute and support brand standards
Highly motivated and a self starter
Excellent written
verbal and telephone sales skills
Basic software knowledge (Windows
