We’re seeking a Backend Engineer to support a remote, out-of-region team. This opportunity is with a leading company specializing in financial technology. The role involves working on complex distributed systems, backend infrastructure, and payment workflows.

Backend Engineer Responsibilities:

Design and develop multi-layered permission role integrations with consensus and policies.
Create automated remediation and exception management solutions to support fund transfers.
Develop highly efficient search systems with sub-millisecond latency as a key performance target.
Build concurrent, reliable, and self-healing batch processing systems for distributed environments.
Focus on backend systems related to payments, money movement, and workflow orchestration.

Backend Engineer Qualifications:

Over 6 years of experience working with distributed systems.
Proven expertise in platformization.
Experience leading as a senior engineer for small to medium teams.
Strong coding skills with a focus on high-quality, tested code.
Educational background in Computer Science (Bachelor’s degree or higher).
