Job Specifications

Title: Data Analyst - Market Risk

Duration: 9 month contract + possible extensions

Location: Hybrid 2-3 days onsite - Toronto

1–3 years of experience in market risk, risk data management, financial data engineering, or Capital Markets operations.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience manipulating large financial datasets.
Solid understanding of Capital Markets products and risk measures (e.g., sensitivities, VaR, stress results).
Familiarity with market risk data flow and the systems landscape (e.g., trading platforms, valuation engines, reference data sources).
Experience building or maintaining data validation, reconciliation, or control frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high accountability environment.
Strong communication skills for working with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Prior experience with reporting tools (PowerBI, Tableau) is an asset.
