Pay Rate: C$27.00/hrJob DescriptionThe Operations Officer supports Small Business Banking by performing back-office operational and compliance activities related to account reviews and remediation. This role is 100% non-phone, focused on triaging files, reviewing documentation, and providing occasional inbox support in a regulated banking environment.Reporting to the Manager, Deposit Compliance Remediation, the Operations Officer will assist with updating required or missing customer information, conducting account reviews, and ensuring all activities meet internal policies and regulatory standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to navigate multiple systems, and a commitment to delivering a high-quality client experience.This is a growing team environment with opportunities for cross-training, extension, and potential conversion to a permanent role.Key Responsibilities• Review customer accounts and files to identify discrepancies or missing information
• Follow end-to-end procedures for Business Account compliance and remediation
• Accurately document all actions and customer interactions in accordance with policy
• Ensure completed documentation reflects correct client and business intent
• Navigate multiple systems and platforms to update customer information
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues to resolve issues and meet SLAs
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance standardsEducation & Experience• Undergraduate degree or 1+ year of relevant work experience
• Banking or financial services experience preferredRequired Skills & AttributesRequired Skills:
• Bilingual (French & English) — verbal and written
• Strong customer service and client-focused mindset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Skills:
• Banking or Small Business Banking experience
• Experience with compliance, account maintenance, or remediationNice to Have:
• Additional language skills (Mandarin, Punjabi, Hindi, Cantonese, or Spanish)Soft Skills• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Adaptability and willingness to assist with new tasks and initiativesWork Schedule• Monday - Friday | 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Overtime or weekends as neededTeam & Training• Team size: 10 members
• Training period: ~2 weeks
