About The Role

We are seeking a Director of Procurement to join our Finance team at ANDMORE. This role will establish and lead ANDMORE’s enterprise procurement function, building the foundational governance, processes, and strategic sourcing capabilities required to support a multi-campus, capital-intensive organization. This role is responsible for creating disciplined procurement practices that drive cost optimization, strengthen vendor partnerships, mitigate risk, and ensure financial and operational alignment across the business.

This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role suited for a proven procurement professional who thrives in building functions from the ground up. The Director will partner closely with Finance, Legal, IT, Facilities, Marketing, and Operations to embed procurement discipline while enabling the business to move efficiently and responsibly

What You’ll Do

Key responsibilities include:

Procurement Strategy & Function Build

Design and launch ANDMORE’s enterprise procurement operating model, including policies, workflows, governance standards, and performance metrics.
Establish procurement as a strategic business partner, aligning sourcing decisions with financial planning, capital investments, and long-term growth objectives.
Serve as the primary procurement authority across the organization, balancing cost discipline with operational flexibility.

Governance, Controls & Compliance

Define procurement governance frameworks, approval thresholds, delegation of authority, and internal control standards in partnership with Finance and Legal.
Ensure procurement practices align with audit requirements, risk management standards, and corporate policies.
Create clear escalation paths and decision rights for high-value, high-risk, or non-standard purchases.

Purchase Order (PO) & Process Management

Design and implement an enterprise PO process, including requisitioning, approvals, and tracking.
Oversee day-to-day PO execution during early-stage maturity, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
Partner with Finance and IT to evaluate, implement, and optimize procurement and P2P systems over time.

Strategic Sourcing & Contracting

Develop category-level sourcing strategies across indirect and direct spend, including professional services, facilities, marketing, IT, capital projects, and operations.
Lead RFPs, competitive bidding events, and vendor negotiations to secure optimal commercial terms, service levels, and risk protections.
Collaborate with Legal on contract structure, renewals, and compliance with corporate standards.

Vendor & Supplier Management

Establish a vendor management framework, including onboarding standards, performance metrics, risk assessment, and renewal governance.
Personally manage ANDMORE’s most strategic and high-value suppliers, ensuring accountability, service quality, and value realization.
Rationalize the vendor base where appropriate to improve leverage, consistency, and efficiency.

Spend Analytics & Financial Partnership

Build spend visibility and analytics capabilities to provide actionable insights to Finance leadership and the C-Suite.
Identify savings opportunities, demand-management strategies, and cost-avoidance initiatives across the enterprise.
Track, validate, and report realized savings in alignment with corporate financial targets and forecasting processes.

Cost Management & Value Creation

Lead enterprise-wide cost optimization initiatives while maintaining service levels and operational effectiveness.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning by providing procurement insights and market intelligence.
Act as a thought partner to Finance leadership on pricing trends, supplier risk, and economic impacts.

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of progressive procurement experience, including demonstrated success standing up or transforming a procurement function.
Proven ability to operate as a strategic, hands-on individual contributor in a lean environment, without dedicated staff support.
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and stakeholders without formal authority.
Experience managing complex vendor portfolios across multi-state, multi-facility, or capital-intensive environments.
