Pay Rate: C$70 - C$80 per hour
Conversion to Perm: Yes (Potential Convert to Perm)Job OverviewThe Business Information Management Analyst will leverage data to analyze, validate, and improve the accuracy of financial transactions supporting multiple segments of the bank. This role focuses on identifying discrepancies within financial reporting, coordinating corrective actions, and driving process improvements across reporting cycles.The position operates in a hybrid environment and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and vendor partners. No customer data access is involved.Key Responsibilities
Extract data from the financial book of record (Clarity)
Analyze financial transaction data to confirm accuracy and identify discrepancies and root causes
Summarize findings and develop remediation plans within financial reporting cycles
Lead and coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure fixes are completed accurately
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve processes in future reporting cycles
Participate in meetings approximately 2-3 hours per day
Maintain high standards of data integrity and reporting accuracy
Required Skills & QualificationsRequired
5-7 years of overall professional experience
Advanced Excel skills (large data analysis, complex formulas, merging files)
Strong experience working with Clarity
Background in large enterprise organizations
Proven experience analyzing financial data
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Soft Skills
Process improvement mindset
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
Preferred
Experience using Jira
