Delivery & Release Operations Lead

Location: Remote UK (with London hub access)

Package: £75,000 – £85,000 + Benefits

Our client is a venture-backed pioneer in Industrial Decision Intelligence. They have moved past the "lab phase" and are now deploying mission-critical AI platforms into complex, high-stakes infrastructure environments.

This isn't a "move fast and break things" environment—their software manages physical assets where reliability is non-negotiable. We are looking for the first dedicated Release specialist to step in and build a high-velocity, high-integrity delivery function from the ground up.

You will be the Technical Traffic Controller. You sit at the intersection of Engineering, DevOps, and Product, ensuring that "Code Complete" translates into "Production Ready" without friction.

You find rigid Agile ceremonies frustrating.
You treat Jira/Atlassian hygiene as a high art form.
You prefer unblocking a build pipeline over writing a 10-page strategy deck.
You understand that in a scale-up, "Quality" is a delivery feature, not a hurdle.

The successful hire will clearly lean on their experience to help shape the role but core elements of your working week will include

Architect and own the end-to-end release lifecycle, from branching strategies to production go-live.
Coordinate internal and external QA workstreams, ensuring regression and integration testing are robust but not bureaucratic.
Bridge the gap between R&D engineering teams and customer-facing deployment leads to ensure timelines reflect real-world capacity.
Own the release documentation and stakeholder comms—ensuring "no surprises" for leadership.

Your experience is likely to resemble something along the lines of...

3+ Years of Experience: You’ve cut your teeth in Release Management, Technical Delivery, or as an execution-focused TPM within a B2B SaaS or Deep Tech environment.
Technically Literate: You don’t write the code, but you can follow a conversation on branching models, rollbacks, and environment stability.
Process Pragmatist: You build workflows that serve the engineers, not the other way around.
High Agency: You don’t wait for a "Scrum Master" to fix a blocker; you dive into the backlog and solve it.
