Senior Project Manager (Enterprise Data Centre & Cloud Migrations)

Up to £65,000 plus benefits

UK based, home based role with occasional office visits and rare customer travel, sometimes internationally

Company & role

You will be joining a global cloud solutions provider delivering large scale, enterprise data centre and cloud migration programmes. The organisation works with complex, highly distributed environments spanning private cloud, hybrid and Microsoft Azure, often shaped by long standing contracts, multiple vendors and critical legacy platforms.

This role sits at the centre of enterprise transformation engagements, owning delivery governance and execution while working closely with senior technical architects and customer stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Own end to end delivery of enterprise data centre and cloud migration programmes
Lead project governance including planning, RAID, reporting and senior stakeholder communication
Partner closely with Technical Architects during discovery to turn assessments into realistic delivery plans
Manage multiple parallel workstreams across infrastructure, applications and cloud migrations
Coordinate internal teams, third party vendors and enterprise customer stakeholders
Track delivery against timelines, budgets and commercial commitments
Proactively manage risk, dependencies and change within complex enterprise environments
Ensure delivery aligns with agreed scope, quality standards and customer expectations

Ideal Experience

Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering enterprise scale data centre and cloud migration programmes within another IT solutions provider, consultancy or MSP.
Strong background managing infrastructure and cloud projects within large, complex organisations
Experience working alongside senior architects during discovery and design phases
Solid understanding of data centre, private cloud and public cloud migration concepts
Comfortable managing programmes involving multiple vendors, contracts and dependencies
Experience delivering projects across on prem, private cloud and hybrid cloud environments
Confident stakeholder management skills, including engagement at senior and executive level
Highly organised, structured and able to maintain control across long running enterprise programmes

This role is aimed at experienced Project Managers who are comfortable operating in enterprise environments and understand that successful migrations depend on strong governance, clear decision making and disciplined delivery.
