SAP ABAP Fiori DevOps Engineer (Contract)
Location: Frimley - remote-first with ad hoc on-site visits
Rate: £678.26 per day (Umbrella)
IR35: Inside IR35
Duration: Initial 3 months, strong likelihood of extension The Role
We're looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Fiori DevOps Engineer to join a product-led DevOps team delivering a large-scale SAP and digital finance transformation programme.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end role where you'll design, build, enhance and support SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and associated ABAP and OData services, working in an Agile/DevOps environment. You'll be involved across the full life cycle - from requirement refinement and technical design through to delivery, support, and continuous improvement. What You'll Be Doing
Designing and developing SAP Fiori/SAP UI5 applications
Building and enhancing ABAP Back End logic and OData services
Supporting and improving live SAP systems, reducing incidents and technical debt
Collaborating closely with product owners, architects and business stakeholders
Contributing to DevOps practices, code quality, and delivery standards
Working in a Scrum/Kanban delivery model within a self-organising team What We're Looking For
Strong SAP ABAP (OOP) development experience
Hands-on SAP Fiori & SAP UI5 development
Solid experience with OData services and SAP Gateway
Good understanding of SAP integration and end-to-end ERP landscapes
Experience working in Agile/DevOps teams
Comfortable owning work from build through to support Nice to Have
CDS Views
SAP PI/PO integration awareness
Experience in large, regulated enterprise environments Why This Role?
