About the Role

We are building ekai (https://yourekai.com), an AI-native workspace and we’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer who treats AI as a system, not just a prompt. We are building multi-step reasoning agents, long-term memory systems, and production-grade RAG pipelines.

This is a founding team role. We have zero interest in big-company bureaucracy.

The Tech Stack

Frontend: React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS (Focus on state management & performance).
Backend: Python (FastAPI/Django), Async APIs, Event-driven workflows.
GenAI: LlamaIndex/LangChain, Agent orchestration, Tool calling, Structured outputs.
Data: MongoDB (context graphs/memory), Qdrant (Vector search), PostgreSQL.
Infra: AWS/Azure, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD.

What You’ll Do

Own End-to-End: Idea → Implementation → Production. You own the frontend, the backend, and the AI layer.
Architect RAG & Agents: Build pipelines using MongoDB + Qdrant. Optimize for latency, cost, and re-ranking logic.
Build Systems: Design deterministic, debuggable AI flows with memory and multi-step reasoning.
Move Fast: Convert prototypes to production-ready systems quickly without sacrificing maintainability.

Qualifications

Recent, hands-on experience building agentic workflows or production RAG.
Deep proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
Bias toward action and a "default to ship" mindset.
