Software Engineer- Farnborough (onsite) - Permanent- £50-55k

(With International Travel)

We are currently working with a leading technology organisation that is looking to add a Software Engineer to an experienced and collaborative development team on a permanent basis. This role offers the chance to work on modern, scalable systems with regular overseas travel as part of the position.

The Role

As a Software Engineer, you will be involved across the full software development lifecycle, working closely with other engineers to design, build, and maintain high-quality solutions. You will use modern cloud platforms, containerisation, and CI/CD practices while contributing to both front-end and back-end development.

Skills & Experience Required

Solid front-end development skills with JavaScript / TypeScript and React
Experience with backend development in Java, Python, or Go
Strong experience using GIT for version control
Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure
Good understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, and data structures
Experience using Docker for containerisation
Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
Willingness to travel worldwide
Eligible for SC Clearance
