Solutions Engineer

Location: Belfast (Hybrid)

Salary: £60-70k plus bonus & benefits package

Talentedge Technology have partnered with a growing Digital Transformation firm to hire an experienced Solutions Engineer. You will engage directly with customers to understand their challenges, translate requirements into workable solutions, and support internal teams with clear, actionable designs.

This position suits someone who is technically capable, confident working with stakeholders, and motivated to continually learn, including adopting AI-assisted ways of working.

Responsibilities:

Work with customers during pre-sales and early delivery stages to understand needs and shape appropriate solutions
Translate business requirements into platform capabilities, reference patterns, and best practices
Deliver compelling demonstrations and technical walkthroughs
Support proof-of-concept activities and initial implementations
Help maintain service availability by following established operational guides and runbooks
Support incident recovery for hosted systems using defined resolution paths
Use AI tooling to improve productivity, design quality, and implementation speed

Skills & Requirements:

Experience in a technical, customer-facing role (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, Support Engineer)
Strong technical fundamentals with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
Confidence leading presentations and technical discussions
Ability to operate within structured procedures while remaining pragmatic during incidents
Experience with low-code platforms or Microsoft ecosystems (e.g., Dynamics, Power Platform, Azure, M365)
Familiarity with cloud-hosted environments and DevOps practices
Exposure to or enthusiasm for AI-assisted development tools
