THE POSITION:

Boehringer Ingelheim is recruiting Medical Representative, this position is based in Rabat. Morocco.

To effectively represent and promote Boehringer Ingelheim (BI) core products to existing and potential customers, by presenting how BI products benefit their patients, with the objective of maximizing sales revenue and increasing market share, also To offer innovative, tailored solutions for key accounts ensuring long term presence of BI’s Product whilst adhering to best practice principles and BI's standard operational procedures (SOPs).

Tasks & responsibilities:

Sales planning:

Builds and executes an effective Sales Action Plan with the objective of maximizing BI business in assigned accounts and to ensure achievement of sales and market share targets/objectives
Monitors the sales development and performance of BI Products

Sales execution:

Works closely with Regional Sales Manager in executing an effective Sales Action Plan with the objective of maximizing BI business in assigned district to ensure achievement of district sales targets/objectives
Plans and schedules daily visits with existing and potential customers to deliver BI’s assigned core product message
Records and tracks product sales and customers in his/her region
Obtains and records feedback from existing customer on competitor’s product performance and monitors their activity
Secures consistent and sustainable growth in sales and revenue by identifying and developing new market opportunities
Precise & full understanding and utilization of medical knowledge about therapeutic area and related products

Account Management:

Obtain and provide information about the development in accounts on their purchasing medicines and developments regarding to healthcare projects
Listing of specialty care products in all accounts through the value proposition of specialty care products to the payers and P&T committee and the decision makers
Monitor the competition intelligence activities on Key Accounts
Achieve or exceed overall sales targets via appropriate resource utilization as well as routine and frequent visits to key stakeholders as chief pharmacists; decision makers; and related physicians

Stakeholder Management:

- Build strong and long partnership with all Key stakeholders and ensure their full awareness of BI product benefits to the patients
- Propose customized partnership programs for both prescriber and payers that need to build the productive business relation between the account and BI

Requirements:

University scientific / Medical degree or Pharmaceutics
At least 2 year’ experience as a Medical Representative
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Advanced presentation and computer skills with expertise in literature identification and evaluation
Highly motivated & capable to learn large amounts of scientific content which is then communicated in a clear, concise fashion through letters and presentations
Intellectual curiosity about the field of science /medicine for which they are responsible
Ability to work effectively and share information within a team environment
Excellent self-management skills and ability to adapt services provided based on customer needs
Good understanding of business and commercial environment
