Job Specifications
Marketing / Growth Analyst
I’m working with a major B2C services business going through a genuine transformation. They’re rebuilding their marketing, data, and digital capability from the ground up, with CEO-level backing, real budgets, and a clear ambition to reshape how their category is perceived.
They operate like a retail business with weekly trading rhythms, growing media investment, and a big push into D2C and digital journeys. Marketing is being built intentionally lean, technical, and hands-on.
They’re now hiring a Marketing Analyst to help build the analytics foundations from day one.
This is not a reporting-only role. This is a builder role with real commercial impact.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll sit at the intersection of marketing, data, and commercial performance, helping the business understand what is driving growth and where to invest.
Connecting marketing, sales, and revenue data across complex customer journeys
Building dashboards, reporting frameworks, and automated pipelines used in weekly trading and exec reviews
Turning messy, fragmented data into clear commercial insight
Supporting attribution, incrementality, and econometrics as broadcast and brand spend scales
Working closely with performance, CRM, product, and data teams to turn insight into action
This is a role with genuine visibility and influence, working closely with senior leadership in a fast-moving environment.
What I’m looking for
We are open on background and seniority. What matters most is analytical strength, commercial thinking, and a builder mindset.
Strong analytical fundamentals (SQL is a big plus)
Experience in marketing analytics, growth analytics, commercial analytics, retail analytics, or agency environments
Comfortable working with tools like GA4, BigQuery, Tableau, or similar
Commercially minded – you care about revenue drivers, CAC, LTV, and performance levers
Curious, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity
Able to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
This could suit someone stepping up, or someone more experienced who wants to build something meaningful.
This will suit you if:
You enjoy building systems, processes, and frameworks from scratch
You like fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high ownership
You want to influence real marketing and revenue decisions, not just report on them
You’re happy working closely with senior stakeholders and challenging assumptions
You prefer being in the trenches rather than producing decks for other people to action
You’re comfortable being in the office 3 days per week in Maidenhead
This probably won’t be right for you if:
You prefer highly structured, slow-moving corporate environments
You want a narrow analytics remit in a large, siloed team
You dislike ambiguity or having to figure things out as you go
You’re looking for a remote-first role
You want a pure data science or research role with minimal commercial interaction
Benefits
Competitive salary with performance-based bonus
Hybrid working model, with 3 days per week in a Maidenhead office
Significant career progression as the marketing and analytics function scales
Opportunity to build analytics capability from the ground up and influence senior leadership decisions
Exposure to large-scale media investment and advanced measurement frameworks
Pension, holiday allowance, and additional corporate benefits
This is a rare opportunity to join early, shape how analytics is embedded across a business, and help build the foundations of a modern marketing engine.
