Senior Technical Programme Manager

Rate: £625 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: Paddington | Hybrid (2/3 days onsite)

Duration: 3-month rolling contract

A leading high-street retailer is currently looking for an experienced Senior Technical Programme Manager to support the delivery of complex, technology-led initiatives across its digital and retail platforms.

This role requires a hands-on delivery lead with strong retail experience, capable of working closely with Engineering and Product teams to manage delivery, dependencies, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end delivery of technical programmes within a retail environment
Work closely with software engineering and product teams to plan and execute delivery
Manage delivery plans, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies
Provide clear visibility of progress to senior stakeholders
Support Agile ways of working across multiple teams
Drive delivery cadence, governance, and continuous improvement
Act as a point of escalation for delivery and technical issues

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience as a Senior Technical Project Manager
Strong background delivering projects within the Retail sector
Experience in Software Development or Technical Product/Programme Management
Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Comfortable working across multiple teams and disciplines

Contract Details

Rate: £625 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: 3 months (rolling)
Location: Paddington - Hybrid (2-3 days per week onsite)
