Job Description
About the Program
We are looking to hire two rising seniors to join our Wealth Management Internship, this is designed to provide a comprehensive, hands-on introduction to the private client advisory business. Over the course of eight weeks, interns will rotate through key areas of our firm—including Investment Management, Trust & Estate Planning, Family Office Services, Marketing & Business Development, and Family Governance & Philanthropy—while working closely with our Client Advisory Team.
The program emphasizes professional development, client-focused learning, Interns will gain exposure to the tools, processes, and strategies used by our advisors while contributing to meaningful projects. The internship culminates with a capstone presentation to firm leadership, integrating knowledge from all rotations into a prospecting pitch for a hypothetical client.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in structured training and shadowing within the Client Advisory Team.
Learn to use core wealth management tools and platforms (Addepar, Salesforce, Portfolio Rebalancing, Monte Carlo modeling, etc.).
Support advisors in preparing client reports, proposals, and investment policy statements.
Contribute to projects across firm teams, including:
Learning the firm’s investment research philosophy and due diligence process
Gaining exposure to Trust & Estate planning which includes understanding trust structures and their role in wealth transfer planning.
Observing how the firm supports clients and Foundations with grantmaking, financial tracking, cash flow management, bookkeeping, and bill pay.
Assisting in reviewing and updating RFPs, marketing decks, and other business development materials.
Learning how governance frameworks are applied to families and enterprises due diligence reviews, family office service exercises, marketing content, and engaging in discussions around family values, legacy, financial education, and philanthropy.
Learning Outcomes & Deliverables
Working knowledge of wealth management platforms and reporting tools.
A practical understanding of investment research, trust structures, financial tracking, and client communication.
A written portfolio of completed assignments (e.g., Addepar reports, investment proposals, governance frameworks, marketing materials).
A final presentation showcasing advisory skills and integrated firm knowledge.
Professional mentorship, feedback, and career development discussions.
Qualifications
Rising seniors pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or related field.
Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Team-oriented with a professional and proactive mindset.
