Summary

We are looking for a HR Generalist to join our HR team and support the full employee life cycle for an assigned population. This role is key to ensuring accurate, compliant and timely execution of HR operational processes while delivering a consistent and positive employee experience. You will work closely with the Talent Operations Advisor and Talent Liaison as a trusted operational partner.

Your responsibilities

You will manage all HR operational activities related to recruitment and onboarding, ensuring payroll, benefits, time and HR systems are correctly set up before an employee’s start date. You will ensure documentation is complete and payroll is accurate from the first month.

You will implement promotions and off cycle salary increases and ensure all changes are correctly reflected in payroll, benefits and time systems. You will manage offboarding processes, including exit administration, payroll calculations, benefits updates, final payments and exit documentation. You will also follow up on fixed term contract extensions and terminations.

You will act as the first point of contact for employee questions related to sickness and leave, providing subject matter expertise and ensuring correct administrative follow up in line with Belgian social legislation.

You will ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, perform control checks, reconsolidate data prior to payroll submission and support the implementation of legislative changes. You will be responsible for maintaining high data quality across payroll, time and benefits systems.

Experience

You have at least 3 years of experience in HR Operations with a strong understanding of the employee life cycle. You have hands on experience with HR systems such as SuccessFactors, eBlox and Protime. You bring very good knowledge of Belgian Social Law, enjoy working with data and are highly accurate and quality focused. You communicate clearly, take initiative, work well in a team and are well organised. You are fluent in English and French; additional European languages are a plus.
