At a Glance

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Summer Intern to join the LNA Corporate Team in West Hartford, CT for Summer 2026. The Cyber Security Intern is responsible for assisting the Information Security Director with many areas of the company’s information security program.

What Will You Do?

Review and update documentation for policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
Analyze and track remediation of system and application vulnerabilities across critical business systems.
Provide compliance checking for security tools installations and configurations.
Research and evaluate applications and services for strategic improvements to security stack, detailing important features within each different application or service.
Work with the Incident Response team to discover, triage, and remediate security incidents.
Participate in daily team meetings and other duties as assigned.

Education

Qualifications

Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or other related area with good academic standing.
College Junior or higher preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Working knowledge of EDR, DDoS, network detection and traffic monitoring tools.
Maintain good (digital) citizenship.
Uphold, enforce, and abide by all company policies.
Strong writing and communication skills.
