Hiring: React Engineer (3‑Month Contract – Onsite in San Francisco)

I’m partnering with a team in San Francisco that’s looking for an experienced React Engineer to join them on a 3‑month onsite contract. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in modern frontend engineering, scalable UI architecture, and high‑performance application development.

What You’ll Bring

4–5 years of frontend development experience
Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
Background in building responsive, accessible UI/UX
Hands‑on experience with Material‑UI, Styled Components, Webpack, Rollup, Storybook, and React Router (including complex routing)
Expertise in state management: Redux, Zustand, or Context API (plus custom hooks)
Deep understanding of component architecture, reusability, and performance optimization
Experience with Jest and React Testing Library
Strong ability to integrate and consume RESTful APIs
Experience deploying frontend apps to Azure Cloud
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
Understanding of micro‑frontend architecture and module federation
Solid grasp of security, performance, and accessibility best practices

Preferred

Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
Working knowledge of Docker
Experience with caching strategies and frontend optimization

Nice to Have

Experience with Next.js
Exposure to DevExtreme DataGrid or BI dashboards
Familiarity with ExcelJS
Experience working with shared or enterprise component libraries
