Your Opportunity

Our dynamic British Columbia Transportation Team is looking for a co-op/intern to join our multi-disciplinary team.

Opportunities are available with our Transportation Infrastructure team in the Kamloops office include the following disciplines:

Construction Services - Structures
Construction Services - Paving and Grading

Your Key Responsibilities

Assist engineers in the preparation of contract documents and reports for a variety of civil and structural engineering projects ranging from highways and interchanges to bridges and airports. 
Responsibilities include computer aided design and drafting, checking drawings and calculations, quantity take-offs, simple structural calculations, and field inspection.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Minimum requirements include some exposure to CAD Design programs and current good academic standing in accredited school.

Education and Experience

Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters Engineering Program or Construction Technician/Technologist Program.

We ask that applicants submit a cover letter and specify which discipline best suits their education/work experience, and career interests. Applicants should also indicate the start date and length of their co-op term (minimum 4 months).

Pay Range

$23.37 - $32.07 Hourly

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
