About the job

This client is looking to reenforce their network security team, particularly in Checkpoint expertise! You will play a fundamental role in supporting business goals as well as strengthening the current teams understanding checkpoint and related systems.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and datacenter-to-cloud networks
Deploy and manage Check Point firewalls and Cisco network devices
Support routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure
Participate in network projects and automation (Python/Ansible)
Monitor network health and resolve incidents

Experience & Skills

Proven Network Engineer experience in IT and/or OT environments
Highly skilled with Check Point firewalls (mandatory)
Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and network security
Cisco environment experience
Fluent in English (mandatory) + French or Dutch

Additional Details

Start date: ASAP
Duration: Long-term freelance
Onsite: Strictly 3 days/week, Brussels
Rate: €600 - €750 range
