A leading listed and innovative organisation is seeking an Interim Global FP&A Transformation Lead on an initial 6 month contract. This is a high-impact role, reporting to the Head of Group Transformation and Director of Group FP&A, and will be pivotal in shaping the future of finance operations across a complex, multinational environment.
Responsibilities:
As the Interim Global FP&A Transformation Lead, you will:
Own the FP&A process globally for the multinational business
Design, scope and drive the strategy for FP&A transformation, collaborating with senior finance leaders to deliver world-class budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
Lead the implementation of global finance transformation projects, including the creation of a global Centre of Excellence (COE) and the rollout of advanced analytics platforms
Implementing and rolling out SAP Analytics across the global FP&A teams
Oversee the standardisation and automation of FP&A processes, ensuring best-in-class efficiency, controls, and customer service.
Manage and deliver key change management initiatives, working across functions, regions and business units
Act as the systems owner for FP&A technology, partnering with IT and external providers to deliver robust, scalable solutions for group, regional and corporate FP&A teams
Lead activity analysis, process design, and the documentation of process maps, controls, and SOPs to support transformation goals.
Develop and implement metrics and scorecards to measure transformation success, including financial, operational, and customer service KPIs.
Engage and influence a broad stakeholder group, including regional CFOs, FP&A leads, HR, and technology teams.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will:
Bring 10+ years of senior finance leadership experience, with a strong track record in FP&A and finance transformation within global, matrixed organisations.
Demonstrate expertise in driving large-scale change management, process improvement, and technology implementation (preferably SAP Analytics or similar platforms).
Possess outstanding stakeholder management, project management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Be adept at working across cultures and time zones, managing competing priorities, and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
Hold a bachelor’s degree in finance (or equivalent); Big 4 consultancy training is highly desirable.
Exhibit critical competencies such as business acumen, strategic agility, innovation management, and the ability to deal with ambiguity.
