Role Overview

The Product Manager B2C plays a key role in driving category growth and performance by defining, planning, and executing short-term (0–6 month) Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product Planning, Sales, Marketing, and Analytics and Insights. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager B2C, this role manages the 4 P’s—product, price, place, and promotion—while monitoring category performance, analyzing sales and market data, and recommending pricing strategies to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and strong communicator who excels at building partnerships across teams, interpreting market trends, and continuously learning to optimize GTM execution and deliver measurable results.

Duties & Responsibilities

Category & Go-To-Market Strategy:

You define and execute category Go-To-Market strategies by analyzing market conditions, identifying growth opportunities, and recommending optimal product placement, channel, and promotional plans. You apply a “test and learn” approach, using KPIs and insights to continuously measure, refine, and enhance category performance.

Business Performance & Forecast Management

You regularly analyze and report on sales and profit performance to provide actionable recommendations that drive category KPIs. You review and challenge hardware and accessory forecasts from a channel perspective, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams. In collaboration with Operations, Sales, and Product Planning, you guide strategic allocation and inventory decisions that support partner strategies and overall business goals.

Product Lifecycle & Launch Execution

Drive product launches by collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure completion of all deliverables are completed. You will plan and communicate pricing, promotions, and product transition strategies, including clearance plans, while supporting sales initiatives through comprehensive business cases and professional product proposals that align with overall business objectives.

Product Positioning & Cross-Functional Enablement

You will collaborate closely with Marketing to guide the creation of product-related deliverables, including spec sheets, cartons, and mylars, while ensuring products are positioned effectively in the market. As a product evangelist and technical expert, you will build awareness and understanding of the category and provide sales and application-based training to help teams communicate key features, advantages, and benefits.

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of Product / Category Management or Product Marketing experience within the Consumer Goods (CPG) industry.
Bachelor’s degree specializing in Commerce, Business Administration, or equivalent.
Strong communicator with influence and persuasion skills.
Curious, self-motivated, and results-driven with a sense of urgency.
Analytical and data-driven, with problem-solving and hypothesis-testing abilities.
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to plan and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative, working effectively across cross-functional teams.
Proficient in MS Office; experience in project management, CI, or e-commerce is a plus.
Minor travel may be required
Bilingual
Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication is essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.
