The Crux:

We are seeking a senior & full-stack engineer, with strong technical leadership capabilities for a part-time, initially unpaid & volunteer/contract role. The ideal candidate will be able to define technical requirements, make architectural decisions, evaluate trade-offs, and develop products from the ground up using collaborative programming practices such as peer and pair programming. Candidates who do not meet these core competencies are encouraged to explore other opportunities that better align with their skill set.

Experience with igaming, egaming, AR/VR/MR, sports, GIS/mapping, blockchain technology, or event management software
Mobile-first responsive design expertise
Background in B2B SaaS or marketplace products
Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows (Replit Agent, Cursor, etc.)
Experience with AI/ML, Agent-based co-development, P2P payments, marketplace commerce
Prior role or experience in a founding role, as an early-stage startup contributor

Functional POC in soft launch/alpha
Password-based authentication with role system (participants, staff, admins)
Real-time status updates with schedule-based estimations
Admin dashboard with analytics for investor/sponsor conversations
Self-contained, open-source friendly (no external service dependencies)

Offline, p2p, mesh-network deployment
Multi-venue support and per-venue analytics
Enhanced role-based access control (RBAC)
Commerce features (promotions, sponsor activations)
Expansion within the ecosystem to parallel touch-points

Tech Stack:

Frontend - React 18, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, TanStack Query, Wouter

Backend - Node.js, Express, TypeScript

Database - PostgreSQL (Drizzle ORM)

Hosting - Replit (development & deployment)

Security - bcrypt password hashing, role-based authorization

Responsibilities:

Architect and build features from scratch, supported by a non-technical UX/UI creator, PPM, and Product Owner
Collaborate on architecture decisions and technical direction
Implement features across the full stack (React frontend, Express backend, PostgreSQL)
Help establish patterns for multi-venue scaling
Contribute to roadmap prioritization from a technical feasibility perspective
Review code and ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability
Partner with AI development tools (Replit Agent
