Join a leading multinational airline holding company as a Technical Lead!
Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Technical Lead to support the delivery of a major Engineering & Maintenance transformation programme. You will act as the central technical coordination point across architecture, data, integration, cybersecurity, testing, and cutover workstreams, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and maintaining clear communication with senior stakeholders.
Role Details
Location: Heathrow (hybrid – three times per week on-site)
Contract Length: 6 months (extension highly likely)
Day Rate: £850 per day (inside IR35)
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical coordination across architecture, data migration, integration, cybersecurity, infrastructure, testing, and cutover.
Oversee end‑to‑end technical design, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and engineering requirements.
Manage technical dependencies, risks, decisions, and updates for senior stakeholders.
Coordinate technical SMEs, suppliers, contractors, and SI partners across eight programme workstreams.
Support solution design governance and facilitate technical decision‑making forums.
Ensure technical readiness for environments, hosting, networks, and BAU service models.
Lead technical components of SIT, performance testing, UAT support, and cutover execution.
Key Requirements
Background as a Platform Technical Lead, Principal Architect, or Enterprise/ Solution Architect.
Proven experience delivering large‑scale ERP or MRO transformation programmes.
Strong technical understanding across integration design/build, data migration, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
Experience delivering in highly regulated, complex, global organisations (aviation, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, etc.).
Ability to manage technical teams and influence senior leadership confidently.
Experience with MRO platforms such as AMOS, SAP, or Trek (highly desirable).
