About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist for an immediate short-term contract opportunity. This role requires hands-on payroll support in a busy environment and is ideal for someone comfortable stepping in quickly and working independently.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Processing bi-weekly payroll using Dayforce (Ceridian)
Preparing and processing T4s during the February reporting period
Ensuring compliance with Canadian payroll legislation and statutory remittances
Managing payroll reconciliations and reporting
Reviewing and administering employee benefits through Sun Life
Supporting payroll audits and responding to payroll-related inquiries
Maintaining accurate payroll records and documentation

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

Hands-on experience with Dayforce Ceridian
Proven experience supporting bi-weekly payroll processing
Ability to process T4s
Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll compliance, including:
CRA requirements
WSIB obligations
Employer Health Tax (EHT) remittances
About the Job

Pay Rate: $26-$30/hour DOE
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days on-site / 2 days remote)
