We are currently in search of a detail-driven and reliable colleague to join our Finance team. As Accounts Payable Specialist, you are responsible for upholding BaAM’s high standards for accuracy and accountability by managing critical financial functions that support our operations and project delivery. This role helps ensure BaAM’s financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Processing vendor invoices and purchase orders
Reviewing and verifying expenses for policy compliance
Reconciling corporate credit card transactions and maintaining account accuracy
Communicating with vendors and managing Accounts Payable inbox
Assisting with weekly payment cycles and cash flow reporting
Supporting month end closing and preparing reports for internal stakeholders
Collaborating with internal departments to validate and approve financial data
Other duties as assigned
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Minimum of three years of accounts payable experience
Proficiency in NetSuite, Microsoft Excel, and Smartsheet
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information professionally
Previous experience in a project-based or multi-currency environment is considered an asset
Compensation
In compliance with Ontario’s Pay Transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000 CAD per year, based on skills, experience, and qualifications. This role is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
