Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months (Renewable)

Hours: 37.5/week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, secure, and support enterprise network infrastructure with a strong emphasis on Fortinet security platforms and complex WAN/LAN environments.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and support network and security infrastructure
Manage FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer platforms
Support routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi, QoS, and VoIP
Handle escalated network issues and ServiceNow tickets
Maintain network documentation and architecture diagrams
Provide on-call and emergency support
Travel between MassDOT sites as required

Required Skills:

4+ years Network Engineering experience
Fortinet & Cisco firewall expertise
Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP)
WAN/LAN, VLAN, Metro-Ethernet
Network security & compliance knowledge
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
