Job Specifications

We’re partnering with a digital consulting firm to find a React Engineer for a fast-moving, onsite engagement in San Francisco. This role focuses on building modern, scalable front-end experiences using React.js, working closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality client solutions.

This is a hands-on engineering role suited for someone who thrives in collaborative, in-person environments and is comfortable working across multiple client initiatives.

What You’ll Do

Build and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using React.js
Translate product and design requirements into clean, scalable UI components
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a consulting environment
Contribute to component libraries and reusable UI patterns
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize front-end performance

What We’re Looking For

Strong professional experience with React.js
Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS
Experience working in a consulting or agency environment is a plus
Familiarity with modern front-end tooling and workflows
Ability to work fully onsite in San Francisco
Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with stakeholders

Nice to Have

Experience with TypeScript
Exposure to design systems or component-driven development
Experience collaborating closely with UX/design teams
Familiarity with REST APIs or GraphQL
