Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for an Independent Sales Agent based in INDIANA with flexibility for some remote work. The Independent Sales Agent will build relationships with clients to drive sales of Optavise's benefits solutions. Daily tasks include working and collaborating with a tight knitsales team identifying and reaching out to potential clients, conducting product presentations, providing tailored benefits recommendations, and assisting clients with the implementation of solutions. The role also involves maintaining strong client relationships, monitoring satisfaction, and identifying new business opportunities.

Qualifications

Sales and relationship-building skills to establish and maintain meaningful customer connections/relationships!
Ability to effectively deliver presentations and explain benefits solutions to diverse audiences
Proficiency in time management and self-motivation to manage a hybrid work setup and contract responsibilities
Knowledge or interest in the learning of employee benefits, voluntary benefits, and benefits administration is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and team members
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred, or equivalent sales experience
Experience in the insurance or employee benefits industry is highly advantageous!
