Job Specifications

Save the Children International has an exciting opportunity for a Head, Global Shared Services for CRM Project to join our global team.

Team And Job Purpose

In Save the Children, we currently have a diverse landscape of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms in use. With this project, we are implementing a Global CRM System, for fundraising across some key fundraising markets and implementing a set of Global Shared Services for the benefit of our global movement, with an immediate focus on small clusters of member countries that are using the same CRM platforms but acting independently or in the process of migrating CRM. Through delivery of this project, we aim to explore the potential to offer a variety of Shared Services on these common CRM platforms and well as expand opportunities and delivery of deployments of the Global CRM solution across Save the Children, maximising our ability to interact with their donors and to enhance our global fundraising capabilities. It is a complex project, with a high level of visibility and will require senior level engagement with stakeholders from across the movement.

Role purpose

Initiate and deliver on our priorities for this initiative; to include ensuring we have a clear strategy and path to reach our defined outcomes whilst also prioritising delivering the required deployments and associated quick wins where relevant. Our intention is to complete a feasibility assessment to understand the deployment impact and options to move forwards with SCUS adoption, identify the scope to complete the feature enhancement development of Global CRM along with complete other Member and Country Office deployment opportunities as they progress and present themselves. The Project Lead will be accountable for delivery of this assessment as well as delivery of deployments across markets and maximising adoption. This will include setting up and managing governance, ensuring the required team / reference groups are in place, working with wider project team to complete current and future state analysis, determining options to move forwards, identifying and proposing mitigations for project risks and issues, defining costs and benefits and coordinate the required governance to move the completed feasibility assessments and deployments through the project delivery and approvals process. It will be critical to ensure a robust plan is managed both in terms of feasibilities and deployment delivery and to indicate expected timelines for the later phases of each project once the way forwards has been signed off. The Lead will also need to effectively coach and guide the project team, ensuring they are held accountable for delivery.
