We are a privately held, growth-oriented food manufacturing company seeking an experienced Director of Sales – Foodservice to lead expansion across key channels. This organization operates within a highly competitive, relationship-driven segment of the food industry and is known for quality execution, operational reliability, and long-term customer partnerships.

This role is designed for a sales leader who can drive revenue, strengthen distribution relationships, and contribute strategically to the next phase of company growth.

The Role

The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing foodservice sales strategy while actively managing key accounts and partnerships. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring both strategic oversight and direct customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute foodservice sales strategy across distributor, operator, and regional account channels
Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within protein-based and value-added food categories
Manage and grow existing customer relationships through performance analysis, forecasting, and ongoing engagement
Collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and product development teams to support customer-specific initiatives
Monitor market trends, pricing dynamics, and competitive activity to inform sales decisions
Support broker relationships and distributor programs as needed
Represent the organization in customer meetings, presentations, and industry events

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in foodservice sales, ideally within protein, meat, or related food categories
Established relationships within foodservice distribution, broker networks, and operator accounts
Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and manage complex sales cycles
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-directed, results-oriented mindset with the ability to operate independently
Willingness to travel as required
