Position Overview: We are hiring Database Administrator Interns to help organize and safeguard our most important data. Working alongside our team,you will play a key role in ensuring our databases are high-performing, secure, and scalable, managing diverse datasets ranging from artist repertories to real- time app metrics.

Responsibilities:

Technical

Monitor database performance, perform regular backups and ensure data availability. 
Execute data cleansing and standardization protocols for artist metadata, licensing rights and user records. 
Write and refine SQL queries to improve response times for the mobile app.
Manage user permissions and implement security patches to protect sensitive data. 
Assist in the development and modification of data models and database architectures. 
Act as a Quality Assurance (QA) bridge to ensure stable and reliable app releases through database testing. 
Write fundamental C# scripts to interpret backend logic and streamline the interface between the application layer and the database. 
Utilize GitHub to pull/push code updates and maintain script integrity across collaborative development cycles.

Bonus (Quality Assurance Tester Skills)

Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL (MYSQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server).
Familiarity with Cloud Databases.

Soft Skills

Strong communication and teamwork.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
Strong organizational and time management skills. 
Collaboration across departments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. 
Attention to detail (important for managing data).

Important Notes

We’re seeking Database Administrator Interns who also bring Quality Assurance (QA) skills as a valuable bonus, helping to ensure stable and reliable app releases.

Internship Details:

Job Type: Internship (Unpaid)

Contract Length: 3-6 months

Part-time Hours: 10-20 per week

Format: Remote & Flexible
