Job Summary
This Event Lead role supports the execution of high-impact B2B owned events and third-party industry conferences within the Enablement and Global Affairs organization. The position is based in New York City with a hybrid schedule of four days onsite.
The role is highly visible and focused on hands-on event execution, stakeholder management, and budget ownership for financial services–focused audiences. The Event Lead will manage multiple events simultaneously, partnering closely with internal business and marketing stakeholders to deliver polished, white-glove event experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Execution: Plan and execute B2B owned events and industry conferences from start to finish, aligning event objectives with business goals, target audiences, and brand positioning.
Event Logistics Management: Coordinate all event logistics including venue sourcing, vendor management, AV/production, catering, shipping, registration, staffing, and travel arrangements.
Budget & Vendor Oversight: Own event budgets, track spend, process invoices, and support vendor negotiations to ensure cost-effective delivery without compromising quality.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal business stakeholders and marketing partners, providing regular updates, hosting weekly check-ins, and delivering white-glove service to senior audiences.
Technology & Tools: Manage event-related platforms such as registration tools and engagement technologies; ensure seamless attendee experience before, during, and after events.
Measurement & Reporting: Support post-event analysis, gather feedback, and report event outcomes and ROI to stakeholders.
Process Improvement: Contribute to event playbooks, checklists, and scalable best practices to improve efficiency and consistency across events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
Proven experience executing B2B events and industry conferences
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience managing multiple events simultaneously at different stages
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (budget tracking, reporting, presentations)
Ability to manage budgets and vendors with strong attention to detail
Willingness to travel domestically as needed
Preferred Experience:
Experience in financial services, banking, legal firms, VC, or hedge fund environments
Hands-on experience with event platforms such as Cvent, ON24, Workfront, or Marketo
Background supporting executive-level or enterprise B2B audiences
Experience producing conferences, hosted client events, or sponsorship activations
Comfortable working in fast-paced, highly visible environments
