Job Description:
The Manufacturing Material Handler supports Manufacturing and Packaging operations through the safe and efficient transportation of raw materials and finished tableted products. This role also assists manufacturing activities such as filling blending dump stations, preparing pre-weighed intermediate containers, screening stearate products, and performing other assigned operational duties to support plant efficiency.Key Responsibilities
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with established Quality System procedures and standards.
Adhere to and actively support the company Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures; promptly report all safety incidents, near misses, hazards, and property damage, and participate in required safety audits.
Transport, stage, issue, and return raw materials and finished product bins to support Manufacturing and Packaging operations; clean and maintain bins as required.
Fill blending dump stations and pre-weighed intermediate bulk containers according to production requirements.
Operate material handling equipment including stand-up and sit-down lift trucks, work savers, and man lifts; support and train associates on proper equipment use as designated.
Perform SAP transactions including material requests, transfer orders, confirmations, and handling unit assignments in alignment with daily production schedules.
Support line performance by assisting with line changeovers, equipment cleaning, disassembly/reassembly, parts storage, bin washing, and equipment movement.
Perform preventive maintenance and complete housekeeping work orders to sustain department performance.
Complete required documentation accurately, supporting Right First-Time results and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Maintain cleanliness of GMP areas and safely operate cleaning equipment in accordance with established procedures.
Collaborate as a High-Performance Team member and support cross-functional initiatives as required.
Perform general maintenance and operational support of Manufacturing and Packaging equipment as needed.
Execute additional duties that contribute to the efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance of plant operations.
